maw: AHH the goth doll one is so gross and the kids all look drugged!

schnozz: the lion scared freaky kid is my favorite!

maw: he looks like he's in that silent moment before bawling. like someone just wolloped him and he's tilting and gasping.

schnozz: he also looks like a National Geographic found mummy child partially dried and collapsed and like a slightly putrefied husk cocoon. We need our own radio commentary show on random found findings.

maw: or a series of read-along tape-books.

schnozz: with discarded moldy Disney soundtracks like in the original 1980s readalongs.

maw: i had the cinderella book-with-tape set. it had all the voices and magical bells for when you had to turn the page. We could go "egghhhhhhh" for when you turn the page, and then we could be like "just kidding, go back to that past page." and have a sort of choose your own adventure page-flippin' non-linear story. in fact, our tapes could narrate already existing illustrated books! "Jim and Kenine and the sword in the stone"

schnozz: when you hear the chimes ring like this: "eaaughhhhhh aaughhhh", go back to the beginning!

maw: "unggh! read the bit in the middle and then poke the wizard in the schnozz and then FLIP THE RUDDY PAGE!", "turn to page 8 and give that jerky old squirrel the goose-eye till your peepers water over."
